NBC NEWS - 2017 PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION PACKAGE

 

For the 2017 Presidential Election NBC was looking for a different approach to the graphics package, one that would stand out from the other networks. I knew the easy solution would be a logo set in a predictable initial-capped, serif type treatment contrasted with a spencerian script. So I decided to try a letter spaced, san serif Brandon Grotesk instead against a deconstructed American flag . I treated the photography with a slightly mezzotinted black and white effect.  Motion - Heemon Kwon.
